SpirInCo buildings are designed for ease of expansion. This dramatically reduces the time needed and labor costs. Much of the framing can be done pre-assembled and lifted into place by crane. The steps involved in expansion are shown below for a scale model house.

| Step 1. Roof molding, siding from side of highest level, and some siding from the core facing are removed. |
Step 2. Lowest roof panels and rafter trusses (attached with lag screws) are removed.

Step 3. Rafter wall spacers are removed. |
Step 4. Left wall is lifted in. |
Step 5. Outer walls are put on.

Step 6. New floor/attic truss/joists and floor panels are put in. |
Step 7. The same rafter-wall spacers are re-installed. |
| Step 8. The same rafters, roof panels, and moldings are re-installed. |
